Pastor Dalarian’s Message October 3, 2018

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Growing in Grace as a Christian we need to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was meditating on the word of God, in Josh 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” The spirit of the Lord is saying to me I see, I hear, and I know because I’m God.  I see everything that they are doing in the world. There is no love in world, I see them with my eyes and they think they are getting away with their evil ways. I hear what they are saying about each other because you are hurting yourself, you need my love but, you want ask for it.  I know what is in your heart, because I am God.

2 Chronicles 7: 14 “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”  Many Christians are still in the test-driving Grace as though you are test driving a new car.  You know that you don’t want the car and you’re just thinking that you want it, but, God knows the heart because he is the all-knowing God.

We need to meditate more which helps you grow in grace.  It opens the door of your maid to the Holy Spirit.  Paul spoke about his maid and how he was delivered from the old man (The bold way of thinking the law).  That kept him living in his past but now he has been set free by the word of God.   In Josh 1:8 we see how the Law affirms the key importance of God’s revelation.  Studying and learning the word along with meditation is a very important part of one’s life, that the word is fully obeyed.  If we meditate on the word we will see our growth in wisdom and knowledge. In Verse 8, you can see how you will prosper and have success because the Holy Spirit is at work in the believer’s life by the revelation and our understanding in God.

2 Peter 3:18 “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever.” The Holy Spirit is the agent at work, it’s the helper and the comforter that keeps the believer free from sin. That’s why it is important to meditate on the word of God.  It helps keep you Holy. Amen.
